Chocolate Avocado Mousse with Candy Cane Crumble

Chocolate Avocado Mousse with Candy Cane Crumble

  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Hot Chocolate Mix
  • 3/4 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Melted
  • 2 Very Ripe Avocados Skin and Pits Removed
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup or Agave
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Crushed Candy Canes for Garnish

INSTRUCTIONS: 



 



1. In a food processor combine the cream, hot chocolate mix, melted chocolate, avocados maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Puree until very smooth and creamy about 2-3 minutes. Stop 1- 2 times to scrape down the sides of the bowl. 



2. Transfer to 4 serving vessels. Bowls, jars or teacups are great!  



3. Chill for at least one hour.  



4. Garnish with crushed candy canes, toasted marshmallows, and powdered sugar 



5. Spread some holiday cheer!
